Stores

Settings › Stores lists the stores Universe installs games from, Epic Games, GOG, itch.io and Steam, and any store add-on you install. GOG is the only one on at first.

The stores that are on come first, then the Off card, then Get more… for add-ons. Each row has a switch that shows whether the store is on. A row reads Set it up instead when a setting it can’t guess is still empty, or Unavailable when a program it needs is missing.

• A opens the store’s page.
• Y turns the focused store on or off in place.

A store’s page has up to three cards:

• Settings starts with Enabled. Once the store is on, its settings follow, the advanced ones behind Y.
• Game defaults sets the store’s per-game settings, such as cloud saves, for all its games, until a game sets its own.
• Sign-in shows the account under Signed in, with Get a sign-in link and Enter the code, or Get an API key and Enter the key.
