Sound

Settings › Sound picks the output the games, Universe and the desktop play through. It’s hidden under Steam’s Game Mode, where the output is Steam’s.

There’s one row per output, such as speakers, headphones or HDMI, and the one in use is tagged In use. A (Use) on another makes it the system’s output. X (Refresh) lists the outputs again, after you plug in headphones or a TV.

Over a game, the dock’s Sound button has the volume and the same choice of output.
